![]() ![]() So maybe an option for x2 or x4 aliasing for users which still want great sound but work at 44khz? Slate compressors and VCC do alias quite a bit at 44 khz and virtually no aliasing at 96khz. Ok much less roundtrip at 96khz makes sense for virtual microphone but.a lot of people still work at 44khz. ![]() My guess is that they want everyone to work at 96khz for obvious benefit - much less roundtrip latency (plugins are already zero latency) and virtually no aliasing. I really tried to find answer but i can't. So since we are at it maybe Slate team could answer do they have plan to reintroduce it again? Not even at SOS article there is no much explanation. Where is oversampling in VCC (since it is now inside of Virtual Mix Rack shell)? Why they dropped it? Does anyone have any reference to this? (i searched forum and threads but there is no clear official answer Slate Digital VMR almost here: The Channel Strip of YOUR DREAMS ) I always wondered and i see people repeatedly asked since introduction of VMR ![]()
